Overview
Session Notes allow you to create secure, encrypted notes both during and after a session with a client.
Guide 📖
You can create notes in a couple of places within the platform.
1⃣ During the session with your client
2⃣ After the session with your client
3⃣ In the Roster. If you are looking for a guide on Roster notes, please refer to this guide.
Styles and Templates
Customize your notes with different styles available at the top of the Session Notes box. These formats will be available at the top of the Session Notes box. Clicking on each of these options will change the formatting of the notes inside the box.
You can also use predefined templates for your notes, like SOAP Notes. Contact your Customer Success Manager to upload a template.
Taking Notes During an Appointment
In order to take and review Session Notes during an appointment, simply click on 'Join Video Session' for video appointments when you're ready to start the session. If the time has passed for your session, ‘Join Video Session’ will become ‘Complete', but you'll still be able to click on it.
You will be prompted to the Appointment Summary page, where you will have the ability to add or edit your Session Notes.
Before completing your appointment, please click on SAVE.
To finish up, click on Complete to conclude your appointment. Remember, your Session Notes will still be editable after your appointment, so you can always make edits and updates.
Editing Notes After an Appointment
Even after an appointment is complete, you are still able to review and edit session notes for each participant. First, click on the "Past" tab on the Appointments page.
Find the relevant appointment and click 'See Session Notes +' to open your notes.
To edit your Session Note, click on the 'Edit' button in the bottom left corner of the dialogue box.
Once your desired changes have been made, click on the 'Save' button.
Your notes will be stored in the Appointment History tab for further use. Your note will indicate the date, time and name of the provider that made the note.
