How to Edit or Cancel Recurring Appointments

Need to update, edit, or cancel a recurring appointment that you have with a client? Follow the steps below.

Login to your account and navigate to the Appointments tab. Find the appointment that you wish to change or update and select Edit.

When the appointment details pop-up, you will have the option to edit the following details that will apply to all appointments in the recurring series: 

    • Appointment title
    • Duration
    • Participant name
    • Participant email
    • Fee

 

Adding Participants

Click Add participant and enter the new participant's first name, last name, email address, and fee (if applicable) and press Save Changes. You'll be prompted to specify for how long you'd like to apply the changes. You can select to apply the changes to just one appointment or all upcoming appointments in the recurring series.

Removing Participants

To remove a participant from a group appointment, press the X icon beside the participant's name and press Save Changes. You'll be prompted to specify for how long you'd like to apply the changes. You can select to apply the changes to just one appointment or all upcoming appointments in the recurring series.

Once you're done making your changes, any new participants will automatically receive a new email regarding the update to their scheduled appointment. That update email may look like:

Any participants that are removed from a recurring series of appointments will get an automatic cancellation notice via email regarding the appointments they have been removed from. That email may look like this:

Important! You will only be able to edit time and date for individual appointments, not the entire series due to potential conflicts with pre-existing appointments. Changes made for time and date will only affect the appointment you are currently editing and not the others in the series. A pop-up will appear to confirm this.

Cancelling a Recurring Appointment

If you are looking to cancel recurring appointments, first login to your account and locate the appointment you wish to cancel on the Appointments page. If it's a recurring appointment, you should see it marked with the 'Recurring appointment' icon. Click on the "Cancel" button and you will be asked to confirm which appointments in your series you want to cancel.

You can also cancel a recurring appointment by clicking on the "Edit" button and cancelling from the appointment creation modal.
