If you are unable to download the secure video client then this guide is for you! 🌎

In a few short steps, you will be able to join the browser based version of OnCall Health's video client, formally referred to as webRTC.

  • 1️⃣   To begin, go ahead and ensure you have the latest version of Google Chrome downloaded. Not sure if you have this?  You can download the latest version here

πŸ’‘ Please note: Google Chrome is the recommended browser for using OnCall Health.  All other internet browsers are put into use at your own risk.
βœ…   After installing the latest version of Google Chrome, click the next button below to proceed.
  • 2️⃣   Next, click on 'Join Video Session' within your appointments page.  You will see this button appear 10 minutes before your appointment is set to begin.
βœ…   After clicking 'Join Video Session' click on the next button below to proceed.
  • 3️⃣   If you are using the Secure Video Client desktop app, you will see the following message prompting to 'Open Secure Video Client'.
4️⃣   To join from the web, click cancel upon seeing this message, and proceed to press 'Click here to join your video session now via your browser'

You will then be brought into your appointment using the Google Chrome browser and webRTC technology.

πŸ’‘ Please note: You will need to give camera and microphone access to Google chrome. This will ensure your audio and video is working correctly.

βœ…   Not using the Secure Video Client Desktop App or are looking to join an appointment through the web by default?  Click next below to learn more!
  • 1️⃣   For users that have webRTC activated by default, this will allow you to join every appointment through the OnCall Health web app using your browser.CleanShot_2021-03-18_at_14.05.03.png
2️⃣  Clicking 'Join Appointment' with webRTC activated will lead you straight into your appointment, without downloading our desktop application.
