OnCall's secure, custom implementation of Zoom connects patients to their health-care provider, via their mobile device, tablet or personal computer, in their home, or personal location of their choice.
OnCall’s custom implementation of Zoom is a safe, secure option that is PHIPA, PIPEDA, and HIPAA compliant. Video calls hosted through OnCall’s custom implementation of Zoom are Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 256-bit encrypted. By default, video calls are NEVER recorded or stored at rest anywhere.
For customers in Canada, OnCall has a signed “PHI Annex” (available upon request) with Zoom that guarantees the video calls are exclusively powered through servers located in Canada (Vancouver or Toronto). If you're located in Canada, click here to read more about Zoom compliance with Canadian security and privacy regulations.
For customers in the United States, OnCall has a signed HIPAA BAA with Zoom (available upon request) and all video calls are exclusively powered through servers located in the United States.
OnCall’s custom implementation of Zoom NEVER shares PHI/PII or any user information with Zoom. OnCall usernames are turned into a tokenized, secret key which is then used to create your video appointments in OnCall’s custom implementation of Zoom.
